Season 2025: Reflections & Outlook

As I conclude my third professional season, I can look back on an intense, instructive, and overall successful season. I was able to work my way up to 5th place in the national PTO (Professional Triathlon Organization) ranking and 212th place internationally, which is a significant improvement over the previous season (320th place).

In terms of racing, I was able to show good performances, the two highlights for me being: a top-5 finish at the Challenge Sir Bani Yas and a top-10 finish at the Challenge Cesenatico. These results show that I am also competitive on an international level. The first half of the season went very well for me, both in training and in competition. This is also where my two highlights from the first half of the season came from.

Towards the end of the season, however, minor injuries and inflammation slowed down my momentum somewhat. I take this as a lesson that I need to work on managing my workload and balancing my recovery so that I can train and perform even more consistently in the coming season.

I was also particularly pleased with the positive response on my communication channels and the great support I received from my friends and family, partners, and followers. This feedback motivates me enormously and encourages me to continue on my path and to do everything I can in the coming season to take another step forward.

Many thanks to all my sponsors for your generous support this season!
